Emma Louise Sophia

Emma did not have an easy time of it growing up. She battled eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. After her father died when she was just 21, anything that was still holding her in place, fell apart and she began heavy drinking and partying. But then Emma met and fell in love with her future husband and got pregnant. That changed everything. Emma sobered up, pulled what had come apart back together, and settled into a life of family, adventure, and creativity.

Together with her husband and her growing family, Emma pursued travel – living in several different countries around the world; art – through photography and writing; and mindfulness – practicing meditation and mindful living. She began her own online business because “life is too short to be living someone else’s dream.”

Today Emma lives in Marrakech, Morocco with her husband and three kids. She teaches personal development through personal discovery to thousands of men and women around the world.

Some things we talk about…

  • her father’s sudden death, her own self-destruction, and her way back home
  • learning how to break free of other people’s expectations to choose your own life
  • discovering your own personal philosophy
  • how to identify your passions and pursue them with confidence

“I feel like a freak. I look like a freak. And then, in the end, you just go, ‘Ah fuck it I’m just going to be a freak.'”

“We have to find our passion and we have to pursue it because otherwise what the hell are we doing? What is the meaning of life? I think, actually,  the meaning of life is to find your passion and pursue it doggedly to its logical conclusion.”
